"Unshaved" .455 headspaces .45 ACP against chamber cone WITHOUT clips. Cases extract with fingernail. Tested only to confirm as useful expedient if I run out of .455 ammo. CIL-Dominion 265 LRN gets 720 fps from 3-1/2" Douglas barrel. Fiocchi 695 fps.

Colt never made a 3-inch OP. I wanted one so Sandy Garrett built this one starting from a 1940 basket case.
