This is the coolest GP100 isn't it
A vetted 3" for me is tempting, very tempting. But fingers crossed it works like its supposed to right out of the box.
The price point seems reasonable

The worst is yet to come
Don’t just sit there – do something short sighted and stupid!
I just ordered the Wiley Clapp stainless 7 shot version in my quest to find the best carry revolver for me.
Right after my replacement 3" (standard fixed sight stainless) GP100 came from Ruger...
Once my credit card payment goes through, I think I'm going to have to order one of these.
Considering my bad luck with QC, it's hard to deny that I'm a glutton for punishment. But just imagine if it manages to pass reliability vetting!
Ok I will! I am new to GP100s though. I got my first one this week in the form of a 4.25" adjustable sight model to use mostly as a range gun and the WC 3" intended for carry is on order at the local shop.
I am slightly recoil sensitive, and was hoping the grip tang design of the GP100 would allow more rubber on the back strap without having to get humongous covered back strap stocks like on a Smith. My Smith revolvers are tough on my hands using magnums.
