I like and have used for several years now the kits from FixIt Sticks. It’s an American company - out of Chicago - I believe. They have several kits, some designed around specific manufacturers. I know of other instructors/users who have used FixIt kits with satisfaction.
If you are going to do optic sights, you may want to get one or two longer bits; T10 Torx is very useful in my experience.
Best of luck in your work

I have the same one as piefairy. It works well.

I’d definitely look for one that comes with some kind of CoC, like the Wheeler does. Traceable to ISO 17025 would be even better, but for $50 you can’t have everything.

I have both the aforementioned Wheeler torque wrench and the Fix It Sticks and use them both regularly. Both are high quality kit and recommended.

I've got a Vortex torque driver, but I got a deal on it years earlier and it's worked fine.
I don't see buying it at this current msrp of $190, however.

Here's a reference for some of the others, already mentioned:

Torque Wrench
Torque Wrench Recommendations

My recommendation would be, on the cheap end, probably go with the Wheeler fat wrench. It's good enough for most pistol needs, RDS, etc.

For low torque applications like Glock front sights, the route I've found to work the most consistently is buying used, certified, preset torque screwdriver handles. Then just get a 3/16 bit that will fit the drive type of the torque handle (usually 1/4in male or female). If you look around carefully, you can find these on eBay and elsewhere for ~$20-50. Professional-grade preset drivers like these usually tend to have excellent breakaway feel so you can more easily avoid over-torquing.

If you want quality, the best deal I've found are used Wiha TorqueVario adjustable screwdrivers. Buy from a reputable dealer (plenty on eBay, and many come with certification) and it's not uncommon to see them used in excellent shape for ~$60-80. They come in different torque ranges, and many will cover most pistol needs and even most rifle needs (10-50lb/in, 15-80lb/in, etc.).

Fix It sticks are the way to go. I use them on all my optic installations, pistol and rifle.

I mainly use Wera. Fixit are fine but the most accurately we've calibrated are Wera. I prefer release torque wrenches. Fixit bits are soft also.

Bad ideas, brilliant execution

I may be slow, but I get there.
