F***ing forum ate my first reply.

This right here might be an indication of them wanting to retain the CS and C, this is in no way a replacement for the CC market. The CS and C compact in particular are much more suitable in size for concealed carry, which makes sense since the HD series is being marketed as a duty platform.

Last night I did a side by side of my C24 compact and a bare backstrap G19.5. My perception is that the G19 is smaller, but that may be grip shape. Because of that, I want to see how the P4 fits me - but pics like these considerably cool my enthusiasm since I really have no need for a duty sized 2011.

Per the respective websites, the width on a PDP Compact comes in at 1.34"; HD P4 is at 1.6". The PDP is right at my limit for concealment without a jacket or overshirt - it's pretty chunky. The HD P4 is also longer and taller than the PDP Compact by .1" on each dimension. This thing may be a challenge to conceal except for fall/winter.
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
No one is coming. It is up to us.

Those peak numbers for width are usually the slide release or in this case, ambi safety. The actual frame width and slide width matter more but are harder to pin down

This is the first pic I've seen of a P4 with a magwell.

Based on the width of the SRO in relation to the HD slide, I suspect that the Staccato HD’s slide thickness will be within a mm of a 9mm of a Glock 19. Thus, I suspect that the HD will conceal like a heavy Glock 45 with the weight being a big factor. Plenty of us have yet to adopt the p365/G43 slimline family and routinely conceal Glock 19 and 17 pistols. A few dedicated souls even appendix carry a G30. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers - will have no problem concealing a Staccato HD.

You skinny, anorexic bitches can keep your Staccato Cs in your frail, skeleton frames.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.

Other than by timmies trying to win pins and coins, I don't see this being carried concealed much.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

If my wife can carry a G45, she can carry this thing. She don't mind. She's short and skinny, but she's strong. Her first baby come out sideways. She didn't scream or nothing.
