"...and pompous fools drive me up the wall. Ordinary fools are alright; you can talk to them, and try to help them out. But pompous fools - guys who are fools and are covering it all over and impressing people as to how wonderful they are with all this hocus pocus - That, I CANNOT STAND!" - Richard Feynman
I am very pleased about the HTX-1 if it ends up being decent. My favorite AR optic is the PA SLX/GLX prism series, and I commonly complain that it's hard to find non-Chinese dots, especially for pistols. A heavily USA-sourced PA pistol optic is literally a wishlist item for me.

It's listed on the site for $650.00 or 699.00 depending on reticle. Their discount puts it at $589.00 or $629.00. That puts it over the aimpoint and right around Trijicon $$ at eurooptic. I think I'd go Trijicon for that $$ right now. Maybe down the road when they have been used for awhile...
The HTX-1 saves you at least $100 in plate and back-up sights (assuming you want them) if mounting it on a Glock. All things considered, the HTX-1 will be competitively priced with other premium optics like the RCR, ACRO, EPS, and Romeo-X Enclosed. It is feature-rich, so I suspect that its success will boil down to how it lives up to the durability and battery life claims.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
