While I don't carry in this manner, I have been contemplating adding an AOWB snub with shot loads when in rattlesnake territory.
Been looking at something along the lines of the Galco Hornet.

It appears to position the grip roughly parallel to the belt.

The galco hornet works well in that position, but the kramer cross draw is a little more comfortable. I have found that a cross draw strong side forward of the hip works well

Now that I have both the OWB1 0 degree cant for G26 and OWB2 10 degree cant for the G17, I played around with both to see what concealed better forward of the hip. The OWB2 10degree cant for the G17 definitely holds the G26 grip closer to by body when placing the holster slightly forward of the hip. They are about the same at the 3 o'clock position, but the OWB2 still pulls the grip in closer there as well. However, I can't really tell if it is the holster design or the can't or the length of the holster that is contributing to this difference. Additionally, no one's body is the same, so your mileage may very. If I had it to do over, I'd have gotten the OWB2 for the G26. But, I still like the OWB1. I may order another with 0 degree can't in G26 length just for science!

I picked the G26 length, as it is much easier to conceal with a normal t-shirt. I've run across enough people with their holster showing out from under their shirts/coats to be turned off to trying to conceal with an OWB holster that extends to far below my belt. Just a personal thing.

One thing that I am sure on... Trying to draw a G26 from a 10 degree OWB2 or a 15 degree IWB holster is not easy or fun for my wrist and shoulder...lol

The JM Rough Dogs at 9:00 PM OWB work for this lefty and G26s, G44s, 17s and 1911 Commander size. Inside the belt - no more for this old guy's hips. Not stylish but a cover shirt over a stylish tee or polo. Or might have a lt. weight jacket of sufficient length. Extra mag on the other side. Galco Matrix or Blade Tech for that.
