Thread: SCS Carry

    SCS Carry

I did a search but didn't find a thread specifically on this optic. Any first hand reports here? It's K-footprint, correct?

I am aware of the ChiCom stuff; so, there's no need to rehash it here.
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

It is the same K footprint as the EPS and 407/507K. No personal experience with it though.

I've got one mounted on my P365XL MS. I like it well enough. The auto adjust is not as responsive as the adjust on my SCS MOS, and way worse than the RMR HD I played with the other day. But, for the size of it, I can't really complain. I usually run it on circle only, which works fine for me shooting fast at moderate distances on the range. I like it better than the EPS Carry MRS I replaced on that pistol, but still might end up going back to an EPS Carry 6MOA.

My understanding is that the SCS carry, EPS carry, and full size EPS all fit the Holosun "K" footprint sometimes called "modified RMSc". Picture at following link: https://freedomgorilla.com/collectio...E2LqBtKYTqFVRv

No direct experience here, but as I understand it, the SCS carry is green only, auto adjust only, MRS reticle only.

The EPS carry comes in red or green, 6 moa reticle, MRS reticle, and is manual adjust only, I think.

I decided not to go with an SCS carry for my direct mount p365 applications. I've heard some mixed reviews on the SCS carry auto adjust and am more interested in the red 6moa reticle option. If the SCS carry had the ability to manually override the auto brightness adjustment, I would have rolled the dice and tried it anyway.
