I’m fairly certain it was a Beretta. He has won IDPA Nats with an Sig.

Quick update: I shot two matches so far with my red-dotted 2011 and things are going well for the most part. I’m finishing about where I normally do in the overalls compared to how I finish when shooting Carry Optics, no big surprise there. I have another match this Saturday that I’m looking forward to.

    A few observations:
    1) I realized I’ve gotten lazy shooting my CZ and don’t clean mags as often as I probably should. With the 2011 I have to get back in the habit of cleaning mags again, at least the one(s) I drop on the ground. I forgot to do that at my last match and had one jam that I attributed to the mag.

    2) New gun-itis is making me dry-fire a lot more. Technically it’s not a new gun, but getting re-acquainted with it after a 10-12 yr layoff.

    3) I spent some time dry-firing my Shadow 2 and it still felt good in the hand even after all the 2011 time. So hopefully it won’t be a big deal to switch back to CO later in the spring.

My rule with the 2011, is the magazines come apart for cleaning any time they touch the ground in a match.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.
