    Love the Canik MC9 LS

Just got an MC9ls, and I am wild about it. Better ergos than my Tacops, better accuracy, better trigger. Recoil is better as well. Just all around a better choice. I am looking forward to trading my Tacops now toward an HK CC9 when they pop up again.

I think the more slim designs, with good grips, ergos, and handling, is the winning formula. Really wish HK, Walther, Beretta, CZ, Glock would embrace this midsize concept.

How thick is the slide and grip on the Canik?

According to the Canik website the Canik MC9 LS pistol is 1.140” thick. I don’t believe there is a thumb safety option available for it or a SCD for those that want them.

I just emailed JMCK and asked if they will be offering an AIWB holster for the new LS. If they will, I may divest from my P365 XL's.

    Some pics for those interested.

The MC9L is my wifes, the regular MC9 is mine. I use the MC9 when I'm going to be sitting for extended periods, IE longer drives.

If you have any Canik, get the Freedomsmith trigger for it, it gets rid of most of the takeup and makes what was already a good trigger pull better.

Nice - Im eager to pick one up. I am a closet Canik fan; rarely shoot my Glocks at all anymore. Strange to admit and it feels wrong, but I have had nothing but positive experiences with them.
