Pulled the first shot on #2, don't know what happened, didn't even call it. Maybe it's from all the drills I've been shooting with a timer. Definitely had to tell myself to slow down.
I have to say though, I haven't shot any kind of Dot Torture in a long time, and this excercise just reinforces to me how very valuable and advantageous an optic is for me.
I would get fatigued, trying to keep front and rear aligned, while executing a good press, and being able to just focus on just the dot (the target dot, not the reticle of the optic) makes all the difference in the world.

I thought I'd squeeze-pun intended-a session yesterday, but it was not to be. Call it corny, but shooting on Election Day seems somehow apropos for America. I just hope all the shooting stays on the ranges for the foreseeable future.
25 for 25 @ 5 yards, with my personal Gen 5 G19MOS, ACRO mounted. Ammunition was dept. practice 147 gr. Winchester FMJFP. Shot on lit dept. indoor range at lunchtime between class sessions. I took my time and am pleased and mildly surprised with results. I sweated on the single handed shooting as that's where I struggle sometimes.
I almost dumped one on the "10" after the reload(I know better-after a manipulation, focus!).
@RJ and @ViniVidivici, thanks for suggesting; I'll look forward to next month!
