Voted at the county court house last week. Found free 2hr parking less than a block away, mebbe out of my car for 25min tops.
Voted early today, pretty packed with a steady line of people but not bad. I’d say from the time I got in line till I finished voting was maybe 40 minutes.
I mailed my vote in yesterday.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.
Mailed my ballot on Monday.
My posts only represent my personal opinion and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or official policies of any employer, past or present. Obvious spelling errors are likely the result of an iPhone keyboard.
I voted Tuesday, at the local library. No wait, and they had more booths than my normal polling station, by about double. It was a pretty good experience.
I had to verify my signature using my finger on the electronic screen, it was pretty sloppy, but it worked.
My wife went to vote later in the day and I suggested she bring her Fisher Space Pen stylus that I had bought her a few years back. She used it for her signature, and the guy working the sign in station, was impressed by the stylus. First he asked if it was their pen, and then where did she get it, as they couldn't get any of their stylus pens (I don't know how many they had) to work the screen. My wife didn't know what the pen was or where she got it, but told the guy she'll send her husband back to let him know what it was. I didn't go back.
