I emailed Hogue today about making a shortened (12.5” inch LOP) tactical field type buttstock for the Benelli M4 and M4 clones. I think it would be easy for them to do and it would sell well, so we shall see what they do or don’t say.
I put 100 rounds through mine today. The first 50 rounds were standard buck/slugs. Then 25 rounds Rio low recoil buck, then 25 rounds federal 7.5 bulk birdshot.
Im just waiting on the urbino stock and I'll take it out one more time for another 100 rounds and some patterning before I pack it in a pelican case for my son.

Update:
75 more rounds of the Fiocchi ammo.
5 Federal Flight Control.
5 Winchester Slugs.
At ten yards and with a modified choke, the Fiocchi buckshot patterns nearly as tightly as the Flight Control.
415 rounds, 1 malfunction.

We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......
Note: When I got home, I noticed just a bit of play in the stock. The stock is secured by a large Allen head bolt on the end. This differs from the Benelli, where the stock screws directly onto the recoil spring tube. There are threads on the reciever end of the tube, but I don't know if a direct swap is possible. Everything I've replaced thus far has been, but the stock is a current unknown. Loctite applied to the stock bolt. None was present from the factory.

With more of the Fiocchi Bucksot and some Winchester slugs, we've now reached the first milestone.
500 rounds, 1 malfunction.
I've fired every type of ammunition I can find through it, from one extreme to the other. It's handled it all very well. I've encountered no issues, other than screws shaking loose. I can't fault the brand for that. I recently saw an LTT Beretta 1301 shake loose it's stock and no one's going to argue the gun wasn't put together by two quality companies. On a shotgun, if it's not thread locked, it's going to shake loose. That's just reality. The only niggle is the length of pull, it's too long for most. But, the stock can easily be trimmed to fit. I've had excellent results with the Turkish guns imported by SDS. I think it's obvious not all Turkish guns are created equal.
Break down again showed no peening, gouging etc. Everything looks as it should. Consequently, I'll no longer be updating this thread on a weekly basis. Unless a catastrophic failure occurs that warrants mentioning, my next update will be at 1000 rounds. I'll then do another breakdown and eval.
Thus far my opinion is: buy one.

Another 100 rounds today. No issues.
25 yard fc pattern. 6"×5"
Maybe tomorrow I'll break it down for inspecting and a deep clean and pack it away.
