Thread: Tenicor Velo 5

One main feature I’m glad they included was being able to put the left clip further left. The Velo 4 conceals the optic better for me than the Certum 3 because of the slightly wider clip placement and I believe the Velo is just slightly wider.

I think this is a great evolution of what was my favorite holster already. I’m looking forward to when they start shipping.

These are now live on the Tenicor site by the way.

Looking to pick one up… Is there a PF discount code?

(Anytime I see a “coupon code” box at checkout but don’t have a code to enter, I feel like I’m overpaying, haha.)

They no longer offer discounts, professional, promotional or otherwise according to a reply I received from them.

I'm curious, but not quite curious enough to invest in another holster at that price point given that I'm already well set up with JMCK and DSG.

    Got mine today.

I always wanted to love the Velo 4, but the bulge was just too big for me. This one works great.

The fit and finish and overall construction is second to none.

How does the Velo molded in wedge differ from the JMCK extra tuck option? I once had a JMCK AIWB holster with extra tuck and it was very uncomfortable for me. I like the idea of the Velo but wonder if the wedge would be uncomfortable for me like the extra tuck JMCK option.

The velo wedge is larger and more contorted than the jmck extra tuck option. I have both a velo 3, velo 4, and jmck awib with extra tuck. I like the built in wedges, the jmck is the most comfortable for the longest time. The velos conceal a little better but are more fickle for placement and eventually get a little uncomfortable, but for the most part I’m talking about little degrees here.

I've had both and hate molded in wedges. Give me a foam wedge everyday. Craig sells this on his site that would probably make it better. I'm probably going to try one out.
