Due to some indigestion issues I have to loosen/tighten when I sit/stand. The Velcro belts are too noisy for this. I have been using a Nextbelt Appendix buckle with one of their normal edc belts (their appendix belt is too stiff). They have American made belts but they are too thick. Tried the Aegis which was too heavy/thick and somehow the buckle would get tighter throughout the day.

As posted in a diff thread, one of the best reasons for me why I like the Tenicor Zero and Heavy belts is that the buckle adjustment is silent. This is especially important when my wife (who is a teacher) goes to bed earlier than me and the velcro rip sound can startle her awake when I come up to bed a bit later than her.

My Mastermind Specialist with the metal buckle is still going strong. I actually prefer the metal buckle over the polymer.
The Foundation Belt seems very close to the original Specialist but I have no direct experience to compare.

I've been very happy with the Nexbelt AIWB belt which features a more compact buckle; the shorter buckle works particularly well with pants having less room between the two adjacent pant loops. I'd prefer a slightly more flexible belt, but it's still very comfortable. It appears the three large set screws will be adequate for keeping the buckle solidly locked to the belt.
