    EDCLB Status Update

    To all who have been reaching out to me;

    I'm still in disarray here. My flashlight stuff is still in boxes (somewhere) and I still don't have a bench or a place to set it up. This move has been more challenging than I anticipated, plus I'm not retiring from my full time job until next spring. I still have to travel almost weekly to MA.

    To add insult to injury, this area of Long Island had a once every 100 years storm that dumped nearly a foot of rain in less than six hours, which flooded the basement where we had unboxed belongings stored and where I will be (eventually) setting up my work bench. After a $21k bill from ServePro this week, the basement is now bone dry but in need of full gutting and restoration. But we were lucky compared to others in this area, a sewer ejector pump kept the flood line to only eight inches;

    I'm definitely getting back to operating EDCLB but it may not be until later in the year. My apologies for not being more responsive or helpful at this time.

    Bumping to see how things are going? Hope the flood cleanup has gone well! Was in the market for a new flashlight so wanted to see where things stand before I spent money elsewhere. Saw a photo in the EDC thread that reminded me about EDCLB!

    Jim, I know how stressful the moving is......one of these days I'll tell you how when we first moved to Texas, the only furniture we had for a month and a half was 2 camping chairs, a cooler and our bed. We had a diabetic dog that needed shots twice a day, had to maintain the business, build a new shop as we went..... how my liver survived it is beyond me. You'll get thru it.. Hopefully you will have lights available again, they were/are great!

    Settling In to New Regime

    Life is finally settling into some form of normalcy, my official retirement from fulltime employment on 04/11/2025 has played a big role in that.

    We're now mostly settled in and I've found most of my supplies that were moved from NH.

    I took the EDCLB website down because (1) of my absence and (2) I need to revise my business plan. I'm no longer going to have "stock" items listed, instead will build everything on direct request based on availability of parts. Currently Lumens Factory (Hong Kong) isn't shipping anything to the USA.

    In any case feel free to reach out via PM if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

    Glad to hear things are settling down, @NH Shooter. I've got a 1-cell EDCLB/BG2 in my pocket right now
