360 Kit Adapter for Magpul SGA Stocks

    Just got this dropped!

Ashton Ray (ARay(https://pistol-forum.com/member.php?134-Aray)) had an idea we put to market that allows users with the Magpul SGA installed to shorten things to work around plate carriers and other gear, and if you're not tall like myself, it shortens the LOP enough to make my 1301 almost too short for me at 5'7". The other feature is that it's slick enough in texture to not snag on clothing, but textured enough to work well with a modern shotgun technique.

They're shipping in a few weeks and thus far reviews have been positive!

Ooooh… interested! Will it accept spacers at all?

Time to pull the pad and spacer off mine and see how I’d get on with the LOP. I’ve always felt they were too long.

I recently put the X22 Hunter buttpad on my SGA for the 870 but I just ordered Tom’s version to get it even shorter. I like the 12” LOP option. I can wear all the layers I’d wear and still shoot it comfortably.

If there is enough demand, that may be an option, but we gotta gauge reception as is. With the range of people who tested them, in a working environment, adding length wasn't a request.

Fair point. My thinking is that I’m not an operator in any sense of the term, I’ll never be kitted up. I’m just looking for something better than the sticky SGA pad that’s a little shorter. Your new plate with a long tail like what is on the SGA’s plate may be my personal ideal, but I want to play with the shorter length your 360 Kit provides first. Prior analysis can be a waste of time, I need to create data. Lol

We had our last batch come in just fine and everyone should be caught up.

Full disclosure, also had, without fail, one of the very first to go out break. A quirk likely, but it keeps the streak alive.... Release a new thing after years of testing and the first customer breaks it.

I haven’t broken mine yet, and I HAVE broken a rubber mallet before!

I instantly picture someone with their mouth wide open falling victim to The Real Dr. House's Gallagher Hammer.
