I swear....some of y'all would bitch that your ice cream is too cold!

When the UC came out, DB remarked that S&W finally was making the snub professionals had been begging them to make for 40 years. Yes, a real rear sight would be nicer, but the LCR's sight picture was and is way better than the legacy Smith FS arrangement. On AFR's chat, Jason stated that Ruger didn't want to do anything with the rear sight.

As for the color.....1)it's a concealed weapon, 2) your favorite color is a cerakote job away, 3) if it sells, they will probably offer more colorways.

This is why we can't have nice things....somebody comes along and actually provides us with a nice thing, and we bitch and moan that it isn't initially offered in our preferred flavor.

I mean...salted carmel, chocolate chip cookie dough, and black raspberry chip are the top contenders, obviously

Not very bright but does lack ambition
I may not like the color, but it wouldn’t stop me from getting one!

If I didn't have a .32 yet and was in the market, there wouldn't be anything to stop me.

It's just coming from a point of diminishing returns as someone who has a .327 already, along with lighter revolver options. And let's be honest, that probably more than a few of us, and we aren't the target demographic for this one.

It's entirely possible that Ruger might be open to milling the top strap for a drift adjustable sight if the aluminum .32's don't have any high rates of return to the factory than run of the mill ones.

We only got an aluminum frame and a weird color. That’s it.

We get no new front sight or dovetail sights. I have played with the J Frame UCs and they don’t really hinder pocket carry nor holster use. Nothing really wow’s me about this LCR. In fact the more I think about the more it’s like a cash cow!

If we came out with a “Jerry’s Limited Edition”; it would have better sights or at least a decent front sights instead of the plain Jane OEM front sight with a white strip, and something special about the grips like what they did for the J Frame UCs.

Sorry about the rant, just disappointed. At least the new SW Bodyguard 2.0 is here, so no need for this LCR for me.

I think what one really gets is a 32 that works and likely wont need to be returned for 4-6 weeks

Hopefully. But Ruger’s turnaround is much less than SW for sure.

I have no doubt it will run great. The LCR’s track record has been excellent.

It’s rolled out as a Lipsey’s Exclusive LCR. Expecting at least the same refinement as the SW UC runs I would think would be fair. And as a Glock Guy, my expectations are pretty low! LOL Just throw on a better front sight, make an effort. Just making a different color than my other LCR isn’t a selling point. I can get different colored grips from Hogue if I’m so worried about that.

If the price is the same as the 38 and 22lr LCRs, I would just say fair enough. But will wait and see what the street price is going for. Just what that Lipsey treatment is going to add or not to the OTD price.

I am glad S&W did so, and am surprised it took that long to do it.

I can accept the typical small revolver rear sight given a good front sight, and the typical LCR sight already seems like an improvement over past revolver front sights. I would hope that if these revolvers become popular, more front sight options will appear.

I had not expected to add a revolver to my future purchase list, but this new Ruger .32 may change that.
