Early in 2000, I was facing surgery on my (dominant) right elbow and would be in a sling for months. I explained to my wife that I didn't really have a pistol suited for left hand only edc, ergo, I would immediately need to buy a Kahr MK9 to protect myself and my business until such time as I could return to right handed carry of 1911's as well as .40 and 10mm Glocks.
I don't know how long Mr. Bulman's wait time was in 2000, but he took pity on my sob story and got one of his SDS (Straight Drop Scabbard) into my hands before I went in for surgery. I wore it forward of the hip under an untucked shirt, sort of OWB/Anti-Appendix, if you will.
Once fully recovered, the Kahr was traded (probably for yet another Glock) and this holster has been sitting patiently in my box of forgotten gear, just waiting to be pressed into service again.
I don't know anyone that carries an MK9 these days, but chime in if you own one and I'll use a random number generator (if this gets enough response to merit one) in a week or so to pick the winner.
Right handed peeps welcome, never can tell when you'll need to carry lefty...ask me how I know.
