I missed a six-inch M27 years ago, just before prices really jumped.
My concentration, and cash, at the time were going toward M57s and M657s.
Got an M28 four-inch and it shoots great.

What's the opinion on the new "Classic" Mod. 27's, sans lock and MIM?

They're fine. Just like any other recent manufacture Smith. Not near the level of fit & finish of the older ones. But for the price of those new you can buy a damn nice used older one so why settle for less?

Since the ".45 vs 9mm" Debate Has Been Long Settled

It's time for a new one!

"N" is for "nimble as a nail gun."

    "K" is for "charisma."

If you're suggesting a comparison between the N & K frame .357's, there is none IMO.

You're just saying that because you know that my State Department contract overrun 4" RB 19-5 might be my favorite handgun I own. (Well, except for maybe my PC13...)
    Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

Feelin' ornery today. Just having some sport with the N-Framers is all.
