Random Musings:
Full Disclosure: I know SLG personally having been introduced to him by TLG in the mid 2000s. I have shot with SLG on numerous occasions. I was there when he and another coin holder (#13) shot multiple sub 5 sec FAST Tests one, after another. SLG was shooting a concealed shooting a duty Glock-AIWB. The other, then head of the agency range, was shooting a duty Glock ( G22 in 40 cal/180 g lawman) out of a Safariland 295, the then issue holster of said agency. I have instructed with SLG on one occasion.

Back to thread and related thoughts:
Multiple things can be true at the same time:
1. Too many folks often dress sloppy to conceal a gun when they do not have to because they are lazy, cheap, hardheaded or some combination thereof.
2. Some folks work in cultural NPE spaces where job loss and permanent career track damage is real such that compromises must be made re gun size.
3. Both statements are representative of a continuum re manner of dress and degree of consequence.
4. If you are reading this post and you are out in the world with a set of flips flop or indeed any pair of shoes that you cannot run/fight in, you are doing it wrong. You know better…so do better.
On a tangent: I find it mildly ironic that many folks post comments using words and tone that they would never use in the presence of the people and/or type of people that they are speaking of. This is particularly true when the comments of are aimed at those who are of color/opposite sex/MIL/GOV/LEO etc.
