Magtech 32 S&W Long Wadcutters keyholing?

Hi All- took my NIB Ruger LCR 327 out to put some rounds thru it. Shot 50 rounds of magtech 32 S&W long 98 grain wad cutters and 50 rounds of lost river 32 H&R poly coated 100 grain wadcutters. All ammo fired but the magtech wadcutters would key hole occasionally. This normal? Ammo issue?

Depends on the gun. I've got one .32 that keyholes past 10 yards with it, another that does fine. A buddy has several .32s and none keyhole it. My gut is telling me that the bullets may be on the skinny side of spec.

Firing .32 S&W Long in the longer .327 chamber results in gas leakage around the bullet while it travels across the longer chamber length where the bullet is unsupported. The Magtech HBWC is more forgiving because the skirt expands to fill the chamber walls.
