    @Totem Polar should weigh in here, he was the previous owner of one of the two Poly's I acquired and everything he told me about his usage of the gun came true in my experience....

    I have a Ruger LW Commander in 9 mm. It has been a reliable pistol. I'm not sure why I haven't bought the 45 yet.

    Accuracy was really really good and I only shot at 10 years while break in, when I took my time the bullets went point of aim. Double taps were ease and the frame seemed to really soak up the recoil.

    Experience with my Ruger 9mm LW Officers is what led me to jump on the new low(ish) price 5” LW .45 a few months back.
