    like anything else it comes down to perception of value.

    when the majority of the public perceives that the realtors don't actually do much, then the perception of value goes down, and the acceptable price for services goes down with it. the court case was all about unlocking the stranglehold on the price so that the market could operate freely as it should.

    I wouldn't be buying new vehicles if I were told there was 6% added on the the negotiated price for everyone that touched the contract. I think that more or less happened during the pandemic when the dealer added $2000 or more on to the MSRP of any new vehicle.

    Lots of those sales people are probably doing something else these days because the market just can't support that model.
