PM Session: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/conceal...s-828446023357

This is a limited attendance, coaching-intensive class designed to help you develop a higher level of performance with a concealed handgun with a specific emphasis on building a reliable, efficient, and effective draw for the real world.
...and by real world I mean developing a draw that takes into account the realities of fighting with the gun, not chasing what might look cool on Instagram.

Shooters will receive individualized coaching based on building a quick and reliable draw for their equipment and mode of dress. Shooters would be best served by, as much as it is practicable to do so, dressing as they normally would to conceal their pistol in daily life. This is not the class for a "war belt." You may damage some clothing by repeatedly clearing the garment at speed to facilitate the draw in this class. Them's the breaks.

We will work to improve your speed and accuracy by helping you build a better process with exercises on the range that you can further develop in your personal practice beyond the class.

NOTE:
This class format is limited to four shooters. It is designed to give a high level of personal coaching on refining your draw to make it more reliable and efficient under stress. This will involve a lot of reps with coaching and some dryfire to help learn the initial lessons. I find that this is what most shooters beyond the beginner level need to build a better draw. Currently (as of this posting) there is one slot open in the PM session and two slots open in the AM session. This session will be intense with near constant feedback and a lot of reps trying to help you build a better draw process from concealment. I find about 4 hours is all folks can take.

Prerequisites:
This is not a beginner level class. You should already have formal training with a handgun. You should be able to draw and reholster a pistol safely on the range while under mild stress. You should be able to hit a 3x5 card at 5 yards on demand from a safe draw.

Equipment:

  • The pistol/revolver you carry every day
  • A suitable waistline holster for concealment (strong side carry IWB, AIWB carry, "Enigma" style beltless system, etc, no pocket carry) that remains open and allows for a one-handed reholster
  • Be prepared to sacrifice an article of clothing or two as buttons especially are known to rip off shirts in this kind of training
  • A way to carry at least one magazine on your person, preferably the same way you carry a spare magazine in the real world
  • At least four standard capacity magazines, or at least six single stack magazines if your pistol takes those
  • At least 200 rounds of good quality ammunition that functions in your pistol
  • Impact/ballistically rated eye protection
  • Hearing protection (electronic type is preferred)
  • Brimmed cap
  • Note taking material
