    Thank you. I’d appreciate it.

I believe that is a Torx Plus drive size. Not sure how well regular Torx bits work on a Torx Plus screw.

Clusterfrack figured out the McMaster screws of the proper length, and I show those as M3 0.5 x 10mm Torx Plus flat head, part 384-0310-01-0100.
That does not appear to be a normal McMaster-Carr part number. I believe the actual 10mm pn is 94414A714 (posted elsewhere in this thread)

You'll notice the link above is for the 8mm screw, and the item listed right below it is for the 10mm version you reference. These are both Torx Plus screws.

I know Duracell was mentioned a couple of times in this thread as to preferred CR1620 battery. But just as an FYI for those who care about such things:

    Brand - Country of manufacture
    Duracell - Indonesia
    Energizer - Indonesia
    Panasonic - Indonesia
    Maxell - Japan by Hitachi
    Toshiba - Japan?
    Renata - Switzerland
    Murata - Japan

We have been using Renata 2032, 1632 and 1620 with great performance.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

Have been quite happy with Duracell 1620s and have a bunch of them.

Would be open to trying Renata in future but no urgent rush to swap.
