    Yep, we have only seen each one time in 4 ears we have lived here. But we have had a black bear and a fox walk through our yard. I carry more to protect our dog than myself. He is a sweet guy but goes absolutely apes--t when he sees animals so he would chase either of them.

    Running our neighborhood here in NJ......Coywolves.....last month brought down a deer and ate it in my yard.

    Yup.....these guys are big...sent an e-mail to the Wolf Sanctuary in NJ and the confirmed....Coy wolf...neighbors and my wife have seen quite a few.....another neighbor's pic...

    New one for me...

    Wow! First I've heard and seen this(I'm in the burbs).
    And not to start an argument, but a G19 with good ammo I think would suffice; I harvested a 133lb. doe on a farm end of last year.
    But, I'd be ok w/ @GJM 's 1301 and buck and slugs...
    Or, "get to orbit, nuke them from there" is another thought...

    Dang, never heard of a coywolf. I usually only carry my spare mag away from the house. Maybe I will carry it more often.
