I’m having a hard time making it work with the ApplePay option - it wants an account first, but setting up an account requires a credit card (instead of AP.)

    Is PayPal an option?

No. There’s a big ApplePay button (which I prefer for periodic payments like this) but there isn’t a registration section without providing card info separately.

    This.

Am I going to get auto billed for something that no longer exists?

AFR was the first (and possibly the last) “third party site” I have ever signed up for. Just for these reasons. Despite who’s running it, or how much I may enjoy the content, it just doesn’t seem to be worth the BS.

That's why I like PayPal for that stuff. It's really easy to shut off the autopay. Patreon can try, but they're going to get a "solly, Challie" from PayPal if they try to collect more money.

When I ran FirearmsTactical.com, I had no issues attracting people that were interested in the content I published.

If you produce valuable content/good products, people will come to you.

If you produce crap, then you have to rely on social media, YouTube, etc., to peddle your junk.

IIRC that is no longer hosted anywhere? I remember that being a treasure of information.
