What pistol do you shoot the best?
I have owned Glock, Sig, HK, Kahr, and Walther over the years.
I have had single stack, double stack, stack and a half(sig p365 series).
I have shot with stock oem sights,3 dot night sights, fiber optic, 2 dot and also green dot optics ( SCS and 507K ACSS).
For me, surprisingly the answer is my 43x mos with xs dxt2 big dots.
Idk why but that is what the targets and timers show.
What say you?
My genuine answer is the most recent one I’ve put 2000 rounds through. For me nothing else really matters.
I'm kind of bad with all of them.
Realistically, full size, heavy guns with good triggers and large window dots.
Gen 3 G17 or a Gov’t size 1911. Historically, I also do reasonably well with 4” K-frames.

Define best? Many people talk about “ best” but they don’t define what that means.

At the beginning of 2023 I would have said P226 DAK. Now after 9 months of almost exclusive Glock shooting, a G47 with Apex trigger kit and Acro. A G19 with 509, Apex trigger, and LTT Grip Anchor is close behind. Hoping to pick up a G49 in 2024 and that it will give me the best of both worlds.
My favorite is my Ruger (Vulquartsen) Black Mamba. It's got close to 100K rounds through it and works flawlessly. Groups on par with my 10-22 with Clark barrel.
