Started with some closed cell foam to fill in the "gap"on top so I could get a higher grip like with the stock VZs. Then added strips of foam and layers of hockey tape. Still snappy with .32 magnum HSDs but much more do-able with those 405s.

    Same.

    Data to support:
My 432UC weighs 17.2 oz unloaded.
My 432UC Ti weighs 13.1 oz unloaded.

4.1oz is noticeable in the hand, and even more so in the pocket.

My 432-UC with the retrofitted Ti cylinder, and grips removed, comes in at 11.4 oz. on my kitchen counter scale. It’s a pleasure to run in a Bulman/AFR pocket holster.

I haven't weighed them but the VZ's that come on the UC's are considerably
heavier than the Hamre Forge or 405's which are on my UC's

FWIW, my 432-UC with the retrofitted Ti cylinder and the Hamre Forge J-Frame Spegel Boot Grip comes in about 2 oz. heavier, 13.3 oz.

My lcrx .38 was only 11.5 oz with the rubber hogues removed. I bet it is close with the Rogers grip!

Finally got a chance to put some rounds through my 432UC Ti today. I did install an Apex kit beforehand. I'm extremely pleased with this gun. This was several cylinders each of HDC 32 Long wadutters and the LR 32H&R wadcutters. POI was the same and every round fired on the first pull. I just ordered a Wyoming Sight Drifter to correct the slightly left POI. Groups were shot at 10 yards at a fairly quick pace.

It is. I also bought it to adjust the windage on my 632. My 432 needs it too but I’ll have to send it back for light strikes first.
