That is correct. 32's should start next week. Just remember we don't get all of them at once. The first 4000 will be shipping throughout March/April.

That's what my pusher told me this morning.

    There's a 642 on GB for a Buy Now price of $750.

She shot the 32 H&R 632 first with Lost River 100gr. wadcutters and loved it. Next up was the 640 with 130gr FMJ and she liked it ok as the steel frame soaks up the recoil. Lastly, she shot her LCR with the same 130gr ball. Two shots in she handed it back and said sell this one and buy me a 632. She then proceeded to shoot 50 more rounds of Lost River WC's and then a 25 rd box of Hornady Critical Defense through it. She has never been able to shoot that much through a J-frame much less an Airweight. She wanted to shoot more, but I didn't bring anymore ammo. Needless to say her new carry gun will be a 632 with Lost River wadcutters in it.

I really look forward to watching this line of revolvers as they develop and evolve.

My 442UC is in hand. I’ll likely get a 432 if these become a regular production item; for now, logistics is hard to overcome and I consolidated all of my other revolvers to .38/.357.

The trigger is unimpressive out of the box on my sample. On my sample it starts very heavy, the resistance is overcome, and then the rest of the stroke is rushed through. It is, however, already improving with dry fire.

The grips are fantastic and what should be on every new J frame.

    The sights are great.

Does anyone else harbor a lingering resentment that S&W didn't start making these guns 40 years ago?

Maybe? It addresses the reasons I jumped to the LCR, and then brings a little bit more to the table with these J's.

Now if the 43C could get sorted out and offered in the same form factor, I'd probably sell off the LCR's entirely.
