My local PO parking lot is not posted, so, you saved me some steps at minimum... I've never given the front door any real scrutiny, as I assumed (wrongly, thanks for the correction) that it didn't need to be posted.. Will check the entrance next time...

My local hardware store has a satellite PO in the back, but they (USPS) have added some restrictions on shipping packages at that location, so, more trips to the PO-actual in the future.

I would look at the front door and then probably look at the doorway separating the service counter from the PO Box area.

I would think shipping and unloaded packaged gun would fall under the exception 3 since it’s a lawful purpose in conjugation with the official business of the facility.
