    Hey sir the grips are English Walnut and they're made by a guy named Curtis Harlow who posts at the S&W "Blue" forum.

    I don't have it lettered but I know for a fact that it was the service weapon of a Michigan State Police Detective.

    I haven’t got this gun lettered but the old lady I bought this from said it originally belonged to a detective that worked the Black Dahlia case. Who knows?🤷🏻*♂️
