Hi, Sorry if it was already discussed before...
Can you safely use an OEM G-19 Gen-5 barrel in a G-19 Gen-4 ?
Thank you
Simon.

My understanding is no, the barrels are not compatible across generations.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
Sensei is broadly correct, but I believe the Glock 19 is the one exception to this rule. The GEN5 9mm pistols standardized around the Glock 19 locking block. So, the GEN5 G19 barrel should fit the GEN4 frame and locking block, but I've never tried it. The GEN5 Glock 17 barrel and RSA would not fit the GEN4.

Sounds good to me guys, I'll give it a try...
Thank you & Happy new year y'all

Just got a G45. I have a Silencerco threaded barrel and just found a Triarc Track 2.0 (for $50, guy said 1000 rounds).
The Silencerco site says All gens G19, G19X, G45. So just repeating what has already been said, OP should be good.
I plan to do a pepsi challenge with the 3 barrels soon across 2 or 3 types of ammo. Curious about Triarc and their Single Edge Polygonal cut barrels (is this also a Marksmen barrel type cut???). I need to get the G45 milled as well, but will try irons only and see if any barrel stands out among the 3. I know my previous G5 G34 shot very, very well.
