    The 92XI and Squalo are aluminum framed, the 92X Performance is steel framed with a heavier brigadier slide. Huge difference.

    If you specifically want maximum competition performance, and price is not a factor, get a variant of the 92X Performance.

    If this will be a multi role gun at all, it's a lot easier to make an aluminum gun heavier (brass grips, WML, etc) than to make a steel gun lighter.

    The 92X Performance is a DA/SA gun with no decocker, while the Squalo is a single action only gun.
