Hi Folks,

I have been loading the low range of Winclean 244 for 10 mm 180 grain fmj. The load data on their website says that for 180 grain fmj, 5.5 grains will get you around 1000 ft/sec:

Manufacturer Powder C.O.L. Grs. Vel. (ft/s) Pressure Grs. Vel. (ft/s) Pressure
Winchester 244

1.260" 5.5 1,019 26,800 PSI *TO* 6.5 1,157 35,100 PSI

Even that light load is mildly too spicy for an extended range session for me using a Glock 29 (typically around 60 - 70 rounds), so I lowered to 5 grains and kept the same C.O.L. And that was perfect- cycled the Glock 29 with decent feedback. I really didn’t want to get some .40 sw brass, so I am happy with the results. Love the Glock 29. I don’t have a chronograph, but based on the load data, I’d guess the bullets are traveling around 900 ft\sec.

Just another data point, don’t copy this info, reloading is on YOU to determine what is safe for you and your firearms.
