Thread: Wilson Combat Macro Grip Modules Finally

True, and I suppose that explains why Wilson didn't do replaceable backstraps. Wilson's grip modules are more rounded, whereas the Sig modules are more like a rounded off rectangle (which can be extended).

i prefer the rounded rectangle, but comparing my WC XL module to my Macro OEM module, the WC is easier for me to grip. That's why I ordered the WC Macro modules.
I had an ER nurse in a class. I noticed she kept taking all head shots. Her response when asked why, "'I've seen too many people who have been shot in the chest putting up a fight in the ER." Point taken.

    Thank you.

I have been debating for some time, using jb weld putty to add extra material and then using the hockey grip tape people are now using to wrap around the whole thing. It won’t win any beauty contests but I can’t justify $400 for grip work.

Looks like it’s thinner than stock grip.

I hated the OEM grip, too square and I like Glocks, but with the addition of the Boresight L backstrap that adds some depth I’ve been happy with it. Ordered the WC as I like their XL modules. Cost of entry is relatively low so worth a try. I did order the “short rail” version as carrying my XL (OEM or WC) is more comfortable than the Macro due to the rail. Both are carried in Tenicor Certum 3s so the holster isn’t the issue.

I find the Wilson 320 grips too thin for my liking, so this is disappointing.

Odd choice since the WC 365/XL module is a little thicker than standard.

Agreed, interesting design choice. For me, the Wilson XL grip is the best shooting configuration.
