    Kramer wait times

Just a warning for anyone who plans to order from Kramer these days. Their holsters are excellent but don't be deceived by their quoted 14-16 week lead times. I have one order (fully prepaid) that will be 30 weeks old this weekend and still has not been filled. I have another that is 23 weeks old, also fully pre-paid, the same.

I am pissed enough that I have asked for my money back on those. Assuming I get a refund I am going to spend it with the leather guys like Privateer, Grizzle, TT Gunleather, Simply rugged where they may quote similar lead times but they actually deliver in something that is not more than twice the quoted lead time.

I don't consider 7 months a reasonable wait for a holster, especially not one that was not an exotic, not a non-catalog item and was quoted in less than half that duration. Business must be good at Kramer these days.

eBay and Gunbroker have several varieties of Kramer holsters, from used to like new to brand new military surplus (allegedly).

Could cancel your order if you find what you need there...

My recent Kramer holster took about 6 months. I called up and was told they are busy. They should change the website to reflect 26 weeks.

Sparks is quoting 35-39 weeks and I have no idea if they can meet that deadline or not. I agree that Kramer should change the wait time on the site, but we could all work on being more patient. I ordered a quick ship holster from JMCK four days ago and it's NOT FUCKING HERE YET!

I noticed a couple of leather makers have stopped taking orders

    Rafter L http://www.combatgunleather.com/order-form

though he has another page indicating he's just opened up his books, but had been closed since 2015 (I apparently haven't been paying attention) http://www.combatgunleather.com/faqs

Davis Leather is not taking new orders https://davisleathercompany.com

Kramer responded and filled both orders within 5 days with profuse apologies.

Got to be the squeaky wheel sometimes.

    Glad it was resolved.
