    Does anyone know why this would be the case? I don’t doubt the veracity of Todd’s statement, but can’t picture why it would matter. (Of course, you have to use the Gen 3 recoil spring.)

    Definitely ill-advised. Different recoil spring assembly.

    Works fine. Get a frame plug (to prevent damage)

    Have 10k rounds on this setup no issues
