The coalition seems to be falling apart before it even started. At best, this is an embarrassing misstatement by SECDEF, at worst, several of our allies refused to even commit and/or bailed within literal days.

Bottom line, the official US answer to this problem after almost three weeks is some rando foreign officers, a Brit ship, and a Greek ship.
