I love my 20+yr old G20.3, it's eaten everything I've fed it, the latter half of it's diet has been heavy BB or DT loads. G19.5 &/or pocket LCR cover 99% of my edc, G26.5 & .22 LCP cover that last 1%. It's been at least 3yrs since I've fired my 1911 and probably only have a 2-300rds of .45acp in my closet. And all this is immaterial in the face of the utterly unexpected dental & mechanical bills that recently hit my world...
BUT STILL - my desire for a non-MOS G30.5 is undeniable. If @Lost River buys one & starts running his +P 250gr'ers through it, I'm probably sunk.
There is a local competitor, who regularly shoots his G29 with factory 10mm ammo. He is a big boy, but it is easy to see how much harder the 29 is to shoot, than say a 19. You really need to be a 10mm aficionado to pick this over other choices.

I wonder what reliability will be like with full power 10mm in the 29.5. I’m guessing that the slide velocity/mag feed issues will be worse than in a G20. And how much velocity will be lost in a shorter barrel?
