What's your favorite steel in an EDC knife?

Mine is CPM M4. What is yours?

I think it's a triad. Heat treat,geometry, and steel.

I;m wondering with equal quality heat treat and geometry what steel you like best.

I prefer a non stainless higher carbon blade

My favorites are M4, Cru-Wear, 3V and MagnaCut.

@blues I'm really wanting to try out a MagnaCut. Probably gonna order a PM2 when it's released.

I like CPM-M4 and CruWear. I haven't tried anything "new" because I've been happy with my Military M-4. I am looking forward to the Military 2 with CruWear, but wonder if there is a CPM-M4 Military 2 on the way.

My favorite so far is 20cv. The Three Rivers folder I picked up awhile back was the sharpest out of the box knife I've had and has worn very well. Second favorite is a Ray Laconico bowie I picked up after falling in lust with one that @blues has, the blade isn't marked with the steel so I'm not sure what particular steel it's made out of.
