Rebuilt from FBI contract? The FBI guns are all M guns, and use Agent sights. I'm not sure how that's an FBI contract gun.

The Bureau went to all M MOS models for both issued / contract guns and all authorized POWs going forward maybe 2 or 3 years ago?
They switched to the 19M MOS before they authorized optics to “future proof” the guns.
AFAIK they haven’t pulled / swapped out all the previously issued M models. They just stopped buying standard Ms around 2020 and started buying /issuing M MOS guns going forward when the stock of standard M guns was exhausted.
The guns are marked “19M MOS” on the slide.
They were initially getting issued / authorized with standard height iron sights.
SWAT, Firearms instructors and some Academy classes have gotten guns with optics and Ameriglo BUIS.
Regarding rebuilds.
My local dealer got 4 G19M MOS factory rebuild guns a month or two ago. So they are a thing.
Two had standard height Agent sights and two had Ameriglo “suppressor height” BUIS like the Bureau’s guns that are actually equipped with optics. The guns have the “19M MOS” marked slides but were rebuilt with standard Gen 5 internals rather than the DLC coated “M” internals. The barrels had an additional “US” marking between the Glock and Georgia symbols on top of the breech block area and appear to be the correct DLC coated “M” marksman barrels rather than standard Gen 5 marksman barrels.
I’m guessing the guns were returned / replaced under warranty and rebuilt for resale ?
The gun in the photo at the linked webpage appears to be a standard G19 Gen 5 MOS rather than a M MOS but given the SKU number it’s likely just a stock photo.

Not to thread drift but what kind of holsters is the FBI issuing to its Special Agents for its glocks?
Varies.
There’s what the academy issues (which varies over time) and what individual offices buy with discretionary funds.
Mostly seen Safariland pancakes including the pancake style GLS and Black point tactical brand hybrids for plainclothes.
Safariland duty gear. I believe SWAT is running Tan Blackhawk T series with their optics equipped G19s.
No idea what they issued to the test classes that got optics for plainclothes use.
