Just got mine. I’ll try to post pictures today if I can.

So far I put it on with my JM George and a G19 and took it off about 15 min later in favor of my blue alpha again. I’m going to wear it around the house for a bit and gather thoughts. For some reason it just didn’t feel right on me and I really felt this sort of “bouncing” affect as I walked. No matter how much I tightened it the entire rig would flop up and down as I moved.

Can you give us a quick sense of your build?

I'm short and have a spare tire. Which, fortunately, helps prevent the 'bounce' (basically my pistol hits my inner thigh, pad/pillow cants it into my gut and my gut helps keep it in place). The challenge I have is the digging into the hips aspect of having to tighten everything into oblivion, because I have no ass to help hold my pants up.

For now, I'm still on the Mastermind Tactics/Graith Specialist train. The Zero has been on my radar for awhile though as an option for work (no pistola, just a Clinch Pick) so I don't have to velcro rip the belt when I drop trou or need to adjust mid day.

Rob, I only have the standard Zero and would recommend it wholeheartedly if you like those Mastermind offerings. MM was all I wore for some years before moving to the Zero and the recent addition of the Wilderness "Swift" belt to have something a bit more substantial on occasion.

6’0 even at about 236lb. I have larger love handles. Not a full “spare tire” but extra weight directly on my sides, less so directly on my front gut.

I think what helped me with my first standard zero belt was being able to cinch it down more. It’s possible I could benefit from a bit longer of a tail with this one. What failed for me with my first zero was the material (seemingly) losing vertical rigidity. My holster started to roll forward despite my utilizing a longer holster and wedge. I started to notice that bouncing affect became more pronounced around the same time.

With this one I noticed the bounce right away. Switched to my blue alpha and mastermind specialist and the bouncing affect was gone. I also felt the holster/gun held closer to my body with it still be comfortably tight.

    Another $95 experiment has begun.

I think it will be perfect, for me. I loved the concept, but not the thinness of the original Zero. I've been using the Zero liner belt for 6 months or so and while an improvement, I would still prefer it a bit stiffer.

I'm curious enough to want to compare it to the new "Swift" belt. I'm already a fan of the original Zero.

I agree - love the idea, just not stiff enough in the original form. Graith / Mastermind belts work fine and are the perfect stiffness for me, but the Velcro annoys me sometimes.

Mastermind Tactics has the best belt to carry a full-sized 1911 with 2 magazines for cheap. Best belts ever.
