A K31 is perhaps the favorite of my C&R rifle collection. It's accurate for an old military rifle, and a marvel of Swiss workmanship. Acquire dies and 7.5x55 brass and they're easy to reload for with .308 bullets and other readily available components.
Agreed.

I acquired a K11 from my wife's grandfather when he passed away circa 1992. Had no idea what it was at the time...no import markings and the original stock had been sporterized at some point (pre-internet days). I was finally able to source a replacement stock from Switzerland to get it back to its original configuration. I wound up with a K31 in the late 00's, but for some stupid reason sold it a few years later.
Any of them, combined with some GP-11 ammo (or 175smk) is a thing to behold.
