Made of of my last stops in uniform at my favorite LGS where I have served multiple witness subpoenas and since this was my last day, I perused the used revolver case.
This GP-100 came home with me.

Congrats, brother.
There's nothing civil about this war.
Congrats!

Will this be your retirement carry? Sweet find!

I hope they gave you a LE discount, especially since it was your last day. Congratulations!
Quite possibly.
I envision this revolver, along with one of my 442s, being my travel carry.
My wife, due to a stroke some years ago, has limited hand strength but can still cycle a DA revolver trigger six or so times.
She was a decent revolver shot before the stroke and still has the will to fight if needed.
Two handguns would be the most I could properly secure when not carried and a K Smith or this Ruger GP would be the logical choice to pass off to her in an emergency.
Great find!
Enjoy retirement and never look back. You (and your wife) have earned it.
