God Bless your retirement. I retired from LE in 03. That Ruger loves 158s and 2400. If you don't reload then Blazer Aluminum case 158 JHPs in 357. Enjoy and here's wishing all you ever do with that 357 is cut round holes in paper!

Not sure about having much or any 2400 on hand.

Yes, .357.
Tried a handful of Hornaday Critical Defense 125 grain .357 through it and surmised that it might like 158 grain bullets better.
Will have to load some up and give it another go next week maybe.
Could have been that the nut behind the trigger was a bit loose😈
