A very different Glock RDS option...

Just something my son ran across and sent me the link... But it does seem like a potentially viable option. Harkens back to the days of mounting T1's on handguns.
BTW, that's using the 509T cut if you were wondering.

Interesting, but admittedly the first thing that caught my eye was the slide stop.

Not feeling the love. Looks heavy, looks bulky, and looks like it has a lot of frame.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

Slide stop is Kagwerks, been out for years.

Holosun says in that post that the warranty is voided if you use that optic on a pistol, so they clearly don't intend for people to actually use them on pistols.

Tried this. Don't see a point vs 509T except cost

Expanding on this, they work very well if you have a high support hand grip and have intermittent issues prematurely bumping the lever. Only issue is they will wear a minor "track" in the finish of your slide. That and holster fitment can be an issue.

I tried it on a 34 Gen 5. The optic is heavy, slows the slide quite a bit, and creates a weird see-saw effect when shooting.

According to their marketing guy's posts on Instagram, putting a SCRS on a handgun voids the optic warranty.
