Yes, the charging port stopped working and is loose. I need to warranty it, but I bought the Streamlight competitor and its design is so vastly better and easier to use, not to mention USBC over the Surefire USB mini. I can recommend the Streamlight 😁

Who is the Streamlight competitor? My first thought was the Surefire Lawman, but they're no longer producing those.

I was using one on patrol for a while. It is mega right and has a very useful throw. Zero Nine made the case I used.

I went back to a DF Fury. The Stinger was just too big for my tastes.

I had one of the original late 90s/early 2000s Stingers. One day while doing traffic control in the rain I was holding the light in a beer can grip, bezel down, middle finger on button, with the triangle-with-two-screws charging port against the heel of my palm. When I brought my arm up to aim at traffic and pushed the button, I got a sharp shock all the way to my shoulder. Managed to hold onto the light, but barely. Haven’t trusted the Stinger’s recharging system since.
