At the risk of going off topic, I trust PF'ers are smart enough to recognize parody when they see it.

Robot birds are a problem in all parts of the country, nowadays.

No comment on how this might apply to Yale.

Flyers like that have been on the Yale Campus for decades. It’s nothing new. In the 60s, Gus Hall gave talks on campus, the Guardian and/or Workers World newspapers were delivered on campus, and teachers were anti-government/anti capitalism. Of course, that’s in addition to the Weatherman, SDS, and of course, the Panthers. A lot of kids bought into the BS, but most didn’t.

I’m sure Yale is not unique. I’m sure most every college in the US has a subculture like this on campus. Why’s everybody picking on Yale?

I was only aware of one Walther PPK on campus.

I am not talking about democracy or government structures. I am talking about the economic system. Russia is an authoritarian country but it is not a socialist country. Some economists describe it as state capitalism.

I believe the phrase "Christian Fascism" would be a better fit.

Then the economic system is more accurately described as a Kleptocracy.

Most explanations of kleptocracy – derived from the Greek for ‘thief’ and ‘rule’ – stress the aspect of ‘grand corruption’ whereby high-level political power is abused to enable a network of ruling elites to steal public funds for their own private gain using public institutions.

Kleptocracy is therefore a system based on virtually unlimited grand corruption coupled with, in the words of American academic Andrew Wedeman, ‘near-total impunity for those authorized to loot by the thief-in-chief’ – namely the head of state.

It's a fictional institution in the John Ross book Unintended Consequences. It was out of print for some time but is now available again. If you aren't already on a list, buying this book will probably land you on one.
