Hello,

I have an old revolver in .442 RIC / .44 Webley triple action whose cylinder rotates unreliably; sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I am in the process of making the ammunition from 44 mag cases, but I would very much like to fix the timing issue of this revolver. The big problem is that there is very little information available about the sort of action this revolver uses nor how to properly time revolvers. I need some help finding where to look to learn how to time a very early double action revolver. The markings on the gun point to the fact that it was made by Belgian gunsmiths as a copy of an early Tranter-derived Webley revolver made for the American commercial revolver. I would say its 'RIC-ish' in its action and manual of arms. If anyone knows anything about historical revolver smithing, please reach out to me. I am trying to cut my teeth doing antique gunsmithing, so I am really invested in fixing this old gun for learning purposes.
